Registration Information



This is the registration form for Medicine 2.0'14 Europe, Malaga/Spain, Oct 9-10 2014. You can also register for both conferences Malaga+Maui using this form (choose superpass). To register for Medicine 2.0'14 Maui/Hawaii. Nov 13-14, USA, only, use the other form.

Note: Tutorials will take place on the day before the conference, please make appropriate travel arrangements.

Cancellation Policy for Med 2.0'14: Registration fees are non-refundable. Up to 1 month before the conference, registrants may transfer their registration to another user or to another Medicine 2.0 conference (i.e. switch between Maui and Malaga). For cancellations less than 1 month before the conference it is at our discretion whether we allow transfer to another user. There is a transfer fee of $50. The new registrant must register and pay the $50 fee using the "Registration Transfer" registration type and state in the comments the name of the participant he/she is replacing.

Alternatively, registrants who cancel in writing (email) up to 10 working days before the conference can have 50% of their registration fee credited towards a future #med2 ticket. There are no refunds for no-shows or cancellations afterwards, and no transfers are possible.

Please provide name and email address of your e-patient in the comments field, or indicate if we should identify one for you. e-patients cannot be health professionals and may be asked to present at an epatient panel.

You name/logo will be printed in the program as Bronze sponsor. Please let us know in the "dietary restrictions and other comments" box below how we should acknowledge the sponsor (you can also provide a link to a logo)
 
Tabletop Exhibition 1000.00 (USD)
Exhibitor tables are available (likely in the foyer near the catering areas). We will accept proposals from academia, government and industry (incl. start-ups) to showcase/display/demo for example social media, web-based, or mobile applications for epatients and health professionals, or to use a table to facilitate collaboration. Our limited table/expo space will be awarded on a first-come / first-serve basis, so please submit your proposal today. Tabletop presentations are not only for commercial products, but may also be useful for researchers, funding agencies, or other non-profits to demonstrate gadgets and applications, and to create a more elaborate setup than a simple poster. In the "special request" box below, please write the title of your table/product. In addition, please submit an abstract describing your table/product, as it should show up in the program.
 
4-hr Tutorial: From The Idea to the App in 4 Hours 360.00 (USD)
From The Idea to the App in 4 Hours The 4-hour course is designed as mini Medicine hackathon to go from the concept or idea for an App about a clinical or healthcare topic to the roadmap and prototype (mock-up) of the app, with the full range of options from simple and informative Apps to highly sophisticated database Apps with powerful back-end systems and social media integration. Profile Privacy Settings

Here you can define permissions for what information about yourself you make available to other users viewing your public profile.

We recommend to expose your information to other users to enable networking and collaboration and to appear in the list of attendees/speakers (if you attend a Medicine 2.0 event). If you would like to be in control of who can see your information, select "display to users I identify as having a relationship with", and add other people as your friend/colleague etc. by going to their profile pages.

Note: If you are a published author/coauthor, your name, affiliation and profile image is always displayed, regardless of your privacy setting.
