Abstract
BodiMojo.com is an integrated health management platform for teenagers accessible via web or wireless devices. Developed with $1M in seed funding from the National Institutes of Health, Small Business Innovative Research Program, BodiMojo has proven efficacy among teenage girls in improving body image concerns. BodiMojo combines content, community, gaming and personalization to give teens powerful insights on health, and wellness. We leverage the behaviors of teens to compare, share and care in a digital environment constructed to promote confidence and compassion. Our key differentiators are gaming and personalization, unlike traditional teen health content sites and communities, which rely on search for single health events or concerns. We use proprietary algorithms, assessments and games to personalize health strategies and leverage existing social behavior of teens to connect with others. Our vision is to build a lifestyle health brand for youth where our teens engage with peers through an exceptional user experience, in virtual and real environments, to build their "mojo."
