Airports
Kahului Airport (OGG)
There are three airports serving the island of Maui. The biggest is Kahului Airport (OGG) which is centrally located on the island in the city of Kahului. You can arrive there from Honolulu International Airport (JHM) on Go!, Hawaiian or Island Air, Kona International Airport (KOA) on Go!, Hawaiian, Mokulele or Pacific Wings, and finally you can arrive from Lihue Airport (LIH) using Go!, Hawaiian or Island Air.
List of Airlines that fly within Hawaii:
If you are flying into Hawaii from Canada or mainland United States here are a list of airlines that fly to Kahului Airport:
Kapalua Airport (JMM)
Kapalua Airport (JMM) is located in the eastern area of Maui. But please note that if you are flying to this airport from Honolulu International Airport (HNL) or Kona International Airport at Keāhole, there is no connecting flight to Kahului Airport (OGG).
Hana Airport (HNM)
The smallest airport in Maui is Hana Airport (HNM) which is located in the east of Maui and it’s only destination is Kahului Airport (OGG). However, this is mostly used as a commuter airport and is not recommended if you are coming from one of the other islands in Hawaii.
Most flights within Hawaii are quick, generally about 30 minutes long.
