Payment

Payments can be made through the on-line payment options using credit card only. Mastercard and Visa credit cards only may be used for online payment.

Withdrawal/cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation of registration should be notified in writing to the congress secretariat, Ms. Lynn Ngai at aimlabstanford@gmail.com and will be subject to the following conditions:


  • No refunds will be made;

  • Under certain circumstances, registrations may be transferred within registration types to another designated individual. Please discuss with us on a case-by-case basis. A processing fee may apply. Transfers must be made no later than September 1, 2011.

Roundtrip Bus Transfer (One Day Only - Purchase One for Each Day of Attendance) 10.00 (USD)
Please purchase one roundtrip bus transfer for each day you plan to attend the conference. Buses will depart the Palo Alto Westin and Sheraton hotels in the morning and return from the conference venue in the evening. Guests of the Rosewood Hotel enjoy complimentary car service from the hotel directly. No mid-day service will be provided. ** Bus transfer cannot be purchased at the venue and must be ordered at the time of registration. No exceptions will be allowed. *An Important Note about Parking at Stanford University. Parking on the campus of Stanford University near the conference venue is restricted by permit only. Registrants are strongly encouraged to purchase optional bus transfers to/from the Palo Alto Sheraton and Westin hotels and the conference venue. Other transportation options include walking, taxi service, and parking in distant lots.

1 ticket to the welcome reception on Saturday evening, September 17, 2011 is included with registration to the Medicine 2.0 Congress only. If you would like to bring a guest, or if you are only registered for the Stanford Summit, you will need to purchase an additional ticket(s).

We will be using QR codes that contain complete contact profile information, readable with Smartphone QR readers (e.g. Redlaser for iPhone/Android). Profile Privacy Settings

Here you can define permissions for what information about yourself you make available to other users viewing your public profile.

We recommend to expose your information to other users to enable networking and collaboration and to appear in the list of attendees/speakers (if you attend a Medicine 2.0 event). If you would like to be in control of who can see your information, select "display to users I identify as having a relationship with", and add other people as your friend/colleague etc. by going to their profile pages.

Note: If you are a published author/coauthor, your name, affiliation and profile image is always displayed, regardless of your privacy setting.
